‘true love waits’ — a poem by uncle farkus
your mangled face i find oddly plain
don’t get me wrong you are an attractive girl
but right now i just don’t feel anything
pulling me one way or the otherit’s like that night we watched ‘beethoven’s second’
that movie was a 3.5 farks but it had it’s moments
like everything in life. most of life is a 3.5 i guess
out of 5. sometimes out of 10.your face is probably a 3.5 out of 5.
it used to be a 4 out of 5. but the bear attack
it really messed you up and now you are a 3.5
i know i sound shallow and i know i ambut you have to understand that when we met
i said to myself, ‘i only want to date her because of her face’
and don’t get me wrong i’ve seen better faces and worse too
i was just drawn to yours and that is the simple truth
it’s just that i think you should know that my rank has lowered
like how i used to think ‘tomboy’ was a 7.0 but now a 4.5
i guess you could find a way to ‘raise the bar’ maybe
like makeup, a mask, or plastic surgery or somethingit doesn’t matter
just know at the end of the day, i will be with you
because of you and who you are and not your plain, mangled face.
